Studio Kokaachi, a publishing house-cum-storytelling studio, based in Kochi, will celebrate a 24-Hour Comics Day that falls on Saturday in a unique way (THIRUVANANTHAPURAM). This is the first time that a challenge of this kind is being taken up in India. “We will make a 24-page comic in 24 hours,” says Tina Thomas of Studio Kokaachi,of Third Cross, Panampilly Nagar. “We have three creators coming down from Bangalore and Chennai and a few from Kochi to work on the comics. This is going to be a challenge. Though we are unsure about the success, we are going to be in this together.”
The ingredients one needs to survive the 24 hours, include paper, art materials, food (also a few sleeping mats). Those with no prior experience can also take part.
